The Louisiana Supreme Court FINS-AP is excited to announce a free, statewide learning opportunity focused on Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI).

Many of you have joined us for shorter TBRI trainings. Now, we are taking it a step further with an in-depth, week-long training designed to help us better understand trauma, behavior, and the needs of the youth and families we serve.

This conference will also highlight the collaborative work of the Louisiana Department of Education and the Louisiana Supreme Court in addressing truancy and keeping our children engaged in school. We will explore how trauma and behavior can impact school attendance, relationships, and a child’s ability to succeed.

The conference will offer two tracks:

– Juvenile Justice Track – For those who work with or support the juvenile court system.
– Family Services Track – For social service professionals, school personnel, and other partners working directly with children and families.

Whether you work in the courts, schools, social services, or another area that touches the lives of children and families, this conference will provide practical tools to better understand trauma, behavior, relationships, and truancy—and how we can work together to support our youth.
