The Louisiana Court Improvement Program and the Pelican Center for Children and Families, in collaboration with the American Bar Association Center on Children and the Law, are pleased to offer a specialized Trial Skills Building training for attorneys in Child in Need of Care cases.

The training delivers comprehensive information about the art of CINC courtroom advocacy. Topics include discovery, direct examination, cross-examination, expert witnesses, exhibits, objections, and closing argument. Participants will have the opportunity to practice direct and cross-examination skills and receive feedback from experienced Louisiana CINC attorney trainers. This training requires two days of attendance for the:

• One virtual day on December 5 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
• One in-person day on December 8 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Baton Rouge
