Whole Health Louisiana Coalition

Our Members

Led by the Kathleen Babineaux Blanco Public Policy Center, Trepwise, and the Louisiana Department of Health, the Whole Health Louisiana Coalition includes a steering committee of guiding members and a broader body of members dedicated to advancing the prevention of and trauma-informed response to childhood adversity and its impacts. It aims to be the first coalition in the state uniting all child- and family-serving entities across sectors and populations.

The Whole Health Louisiana Coalition includes and encourages the membership of representatives from existing coalitions that align with Whole Health Louisiana. The overarching goal of the coalition is to enhance existing and emerging trauma-informed and healing-centered efforts by raising public awareness, amplifying evidence-based policies, engaging in challenges holistically and systemically, sharing data for future decisions, and supporting the workforce to expand trauma-informed efforts statewide.

Collaboration is at the core of Whole Health Louisiana, connecting those invested in the health and well-being of Louisiana’s children and families in a unified network of support. Together, we are stronger, and our unity is the driving force behind change. We invite you to join the Whole Health Louisiana Coalition.

A priority of Whole Health Louisiana is to identify and amplify best practices from partners across the state to promote the adoption and integration of trauma-informed approaches and supportive workforce policies and practices. We invite members of the Whole Health Louisiana Coalition, partners of the initiative, and all residents to share their experiences with implementing trauma-informed approaches, highlighting successes, and opportunities for growth.

This brief survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete, but it may take longer depending on how much you would like to share. With your consent, we may include partner success stories in our updates to coalition members, feature them on the Whole Health Louisiana website, or include them in publicly available reports to advance the prevention of childhood adversity and its impacts through the adoption of trauma-informed and healing-centered principles.
