With planning and awareness, transitions throughout foster care can be less stressful for everyone involved. Speakers will discuss the various transitions that foster children experience and discuss the impact on the children, their caregivers, and providers involved with the family.

Presenters will explore considerations when a transition is needed and will address how to prioritize the
child’s attachment needs while taking steps to decrease trauma.
