Training Time: Full 8-hour training, 9am-5pm

Eligibility: Lived Experience Attendees must be between the ages of 18-26 and have lived experience in the foster care system. You must be eligible to participate.

The Pelican Center for Children and Families has organized a Youth Training Course funded by the Selfless Love Foundation. The Youth Thrive for Youth Training Course is designed to help build youth leaders who can advocate for decisions that impact their lives and communities. Participants will engage in leadership development, advocacy skills, communication strategies, and collaborative discussions with peers and professionals.
